| | I've just had a friend from back home come to visit at Smith. It was great to have a refreshing long weekend (WOAH Snow Day!), with one of my life long best friends. Even though my friend and I have gone to school the past four years thousands of miles apart, we still get along like peanut butter and jelly as soon as we are back together! It was great to have my Midwest friend meet my Northeast friends and Smith classmates. I also have a great selection of classes this semester, and I was extra proud to have her attend them with me!
Speaking of classes, the second semester is coming right along. The first few weeks have absolutely FLOWN by. My break passed with some excitement, at least the excitement (and stress) that goes along with thinking about the future! Thanks to Smith's enriching open curriculum, I was able to take a variety of classes over the past four years. This semester I changed almost my entire course schedule a few days before classes began.
I've decided to pursue nursing school applications, instead of focusing on medical school applications. The course pre-requisites for nursing schools are more broad than medical school requirements, so I will have to take post-bac classes. I'm actually looking forward to continuing into summer school, though, despite the fact that I am VERY ready for graduation. There are so many enticing class subjects offered at Smith, I could never have taken all that I wanted in only 3 years of being on campus. Oh well, no regrets! I have had some amazing times, and I'm grateful for out outstanding professors and staff.
Well, even though my course load is a little smaller this semester than in past semesters, homework still calls my name! |
